Invite sisters, friends and neighbours to the dar, the Teej geet and the dancing, with the Nepali date and one link that collects replies.
A Teej invitation card names the host, a family, a women’s group or an association, and invites guests to the dar, the feast held before the fasting day of Haritalika Teej. It gives the day in the Bikram Sambat calendar, the time, the venue and often a dress note such as red saree or pote.
Larger Teej celebrations list the programme: dar, Teej geet, dance and any cultural show, with a chief guest where there is one. One link lets every guest reply, so the host knows how many to cater for.

Haritalika Teej falls in Bhadra, on the third day of the bright fortnight, and the dar is usually eaten the day before. The card prints the Bikram Sambat date in Devanagari with the English date beneath it.
