Silver bowl and traditional designs for the annaprashan. Add the baby’s name and photo, and send one link to the whole family.
A pasni card names the parents as hosts and the baby by name, with the Bikram Sambat date, weekday and tithi, the saait set by the priest, and the venue. Most families also give the time of the feast that follows.
Pasni (annaprashan) is the baby’s first taste of rice. Many families time it in the sixth month for a boy and the fifth for a girl, so the card is often made at short notice once the priest fixes the date.

A pasni card is mostly about the baby. Upload a photo onto the cover and keep the wording short: the hosts, the baby’s name, the date and the place.
Grandparents usually get the first look, so a design with a Devanagari version reads well for elders, and the English date underneath helps relatives abroad.
