What goes on an event invitation card?
An event invitation names the organiser, the event, the date, the time and the venue, and usually the chief guest and the chair. Formal Nepali programmes add the order of the day: welcome, chief guest’s remarks, the main session and the vote of thanks.
A link card lets the organiser count replies before the day, update the programme if a speaker changes, and give every guest the same map link to the venue.

Event invitations: common questions
- In what order should guests be named on a formal programme card?
- Nepali formal programmes name the chair (सभापति) and the chief guest (प्रमुख अतिथि) first, then special guests (विशेष अतिथि) and guests (अतिथि). Check titles and spellings with each guest’s office before sharing, as they are read closely.
- Can I put the programme schedule on the invitation?
- Yes. Add a second page for the schedule with each item and its time. Guests swipe to it on their phone, and you can edit it up to the day without sending a new card.
- Can a school send its annual function invitation to all parents?
- Yes. Save the card once and send the link in the class or school groups. Parents open it without an app, and their replies help the school plan seating.
