What goes on a Christmas invitation card?
A Christmas invitation names the church, fellowship or family hosting, the programme (a carol service, a Christmas worship, a dinner or a party), the date, the time and the venue. Church cards often open with a verse such as Isaiah 9:6 or Luke 2:11.
In Nepal, Christmas is a public holiday on 25 December, and many churches hold programmes across the whole week. One card can list the Christmas Eve carols, the Christmas Day service and the fellowship meal on separate pages.

- Luke 2:11, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour”, and Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born”, are the most used. John 1:14 suits a quieter, reflective card. Put the verse at the top in a smaller size than the heading.
